Three more global investment banks to start local coverage of WSE stocks

Goldman Sachs, Societe Generale and UBS will be the latest to join the growing list of global investment banks covering companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE) from Warsaw, deputy treasury minister Krzysztof Walenczak said on 8 February. The news comes days after JP Morgan, the US investment bank, began publishing research reports about WSE companies, and is further evidence of the city’s growing status as a regional financial centre.

The three banks will begin covering WSE firms by the end of June.

At the moment, six of Europe’s top 16 investment banks are covering WSE firms from Warsaw: Citi Handlowy, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, ING, UniCredit and JP Morgan.
