Renovatio to invest €250m in wind power in Poland

Renovatio Power, an international renewable energy group, plans to invest more than €250m over the next few years in building and acquiring wind farms in Poland.
At the moment, projects totalling 100 MW are under preparation, and first farms are to be launched before the end of 2010. By 2015, the company aims to have 200 MW of installed wind power capacity in the country, with the ultimate goal of 500 MW.
Renovatio Power is based in Cyprus and has operations in Italy, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria and interests in the US, the Bahamas and Malta. Its growth strategy in Poland is modelled after its successful expansion on the Romanian market.
