Construction of Galeria Ostrovia to begin in March 2010

The construction of the Galeria Ostrovia shopping gallery is due to begin at the end of March 2010. This will be the first modern shopping centre in Ostrow Wielkopolski. It is due to open in the autumn of 2011, and 70% of the gallery has already been rented. There is a 37,000 m² retail area, and it will house around 100 stores and service points. The main tenants include Tesco (7,700 m²), Obi (10,300 m²), H&M (1,600 m²) and Media Expert(2,000 m²).
The owner of the complex is the Saller group, and Cushman & Wakefield is responsible for the commercialisation of the gallery.
