DHL commences work on new terminal in Kielce
2010-02-25
DHL Express, the global provider of express delivery services, has initiated construction work on a new storage and transhipment terminal in Kielce (Swietokrzyskie voivodship). The 1 hectare facility is due to be completed by the middle of the year.
The project is part of a wider investment programme that envisages the opening of seven new terminals in Poland over 2009-2010, at a combined cost of approximately €20-30m. One of the new facilities, a €4.7m unit in Czechowice-Dziedzice (Slaskie voivodship), was launched in November. Next in line are terminals in Radom and Walbrzych.
DHL already has one terminal in Kielce.
