Veolia to spend PLN 15m on enlarging waste recycling plant near Wroclaw

Veolia Environnement, the global environmental services group, will invest PLN 15m (approx. €3.7m) over the next two years in a thorough expansion of its municipal waste recycling and disposal plant in Jaroszow near Wroclaw.
The investments, which involve e.g. the construction of a modern composting facility, will allow the plant to generate 30,000 tons of green fuel and manage 70,000 tons of waste per year.
The Jaroszow plant is conveniently located near the A4 motorway, enabling it so serve several municipal markets in Southwestern Poland: Wroclaw, Walbrzych, Jelenia Gora, Legnica and Klodzko.
Veolia, which claims to be the world leader in environmental services with operations on every continent and more than 336,000 employees, has been present on the Polish market since 1998, focusing on integrated waste management.
