Samsung expands R&D centre in Warsaw

The Warsaw centre, opened in August 2007, is the company’s main R&D facility in Europe and one of just three such facilities in the world, the others being located in
China and India. Samsung also has an R&D centre for digital video broadcasting software in Poland, opened in 2000. The company said its aim was to increase
investments in its R&D facilities in Poland in the future.
Samsung Electronics employs 123,000 people in 48 countries worldwide.
