Papa John’s pizza chain coming to Poland
2007-09-24
Papa John’s, originating from the US and the world’s third largest pizza chain, is set to enter Poland. The company is to open its first 150 m² franchise restaurant in the Millenium Hall multifunctional complex in Rzeszow in Q4 2008, which at the same time will be the brand’s first unit in the Central European region.
The banner franchisee, Daniel Pawlowski, president of Papa John’s Polska, announced that he plans to open two pizza units in 2008 with the second point planned for Krakow. According to its strategy, all the restaurants will be located in shopping centres and city centres and will offer both “dine-in” and “order-out” services, unlike Papa John’s US units where there is no dine-in option.
Papa John’s is already present in 32 countries, where it runs over 3,000 restaurants.
