Credit Suisse opens Centre of Excellence in Wroclaw

Switzerland’s Credit Suisse, one of the world’s biggest financial groups, has decided to locate its financial-operations centre in Wroclaw (Dolnoslaskie voivodship). Its launch is planned for the third quarter of this year.
The new centre, which will serve Credit Suisse’s richest clients around the world, will provide work for 400 people. It will be the concern’s first unit of this type in Europe. Dolnoslaskie’s provincial capital vied with several other Polish cities as well as the Czech capital Prague to win the investment.
Credit Suisse operates in more than 50 countries around the world and employs almost 45,000 people. It has competency centres in the United States, India and Singapore.
