Faurecia preparing to launch new plant in Poland

Faurecia Interior Systems, a unit of global automotive supplier Fauracia, will in the spring inaugurate a new greenfield factory at its production complex in Legnica (Dolnoslaskie voivodship), in the Legnica Special Economic Zone.
The plant, whose construction got underway in October 2012, will produce decorative aluminum parts for car interiors. Initially it will employ about 200 people. Within three years the number is to rise to 570.
Faurecia entered Poland in 1996 and currently has four manufacturing sites in the country, in Gorzow (Lubuskie), Grojec (Mazowieckie), and Walbrzych and Legnica (Dolnoslaskie). Its Polish workforce exceeds 6,000.
