BASF obtains land for €150m plant in Legnica zone

BASF, the global chemicals group, has selected the site for a large new manufacturing complex in Sroda Slaska (Dolnoslaskie voivodship), in the Legnica Special Economic Zone.
The group plans to invest approximately €150m to in what will be its biggest factory of calalysts, calatytic filters and other fuel efficiency systems for the automotive industry in Europe. The 40,000 m
2 complex will consist of 10 production lines and will employ over 400 people. According to earlier information, the factory will start production in the first quarter of 2014 and will reach full capacity by 2016.
