Itella to create 300 jobs in Torun

Itella Information, a large Finish provider of document flow and financial management solutions, plans to add nearly 300 jobs at its facility in Torun over the next two years, the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency (PAIiIZ) announced. The company has recently received a PLN 1.4m (approx. €0.34m) government grant in support of a project to create a new service centre in Torun specialised in IT support, finance and bookkeeping, and payroll administration services to customers from the Scandinavia, Germany and the Baltic states.
Itella entered Poland in 2007. At present it has three centres in the country, in Warsaw, Poznan and Torun. In November 2010 it acquired Outsourcing Solutions, a Polish BPO firm, as part of an expansion strategy aimed at becoming the number one provider of document management solutions in Europe.
