US measurement solutions group adds capacity in Wroclaw

Agilent Technologies, a leading global maker of measurement solutions for chemical analysis, life sciences, diagnostics & genomics and electronic measurement, has completed a major expansion of its X-ray diffraction manufacturing and R&D operations in Wroclaw.

The NYSE-listed company has moved to a larger, custom-designed facility situated just a few kilometers from its previous Wroclaw location, with significantly greater manufacturing capacity and product development capabilities. The new plant is tailored specifically for producing Agilent’s expanding range of products for single-crystal X-ray diffraction, including its latest GV1000 X-ray diffractometer.

Agilent acquired the previous Wroclaw plant in 2010 as a result of its takeover of Varian.

Santa Clara, California-based Agilent Technologies has 20,500 employees and operates in more than 100 countries.
