Capgemini to increase Polish staff by 20%, open new centre

2012-11-16

Capgemini, the global IT services and business consulting firm, will add about 1,000 jobs at its service centres in Poland over the next 18-24 months as it expands existing services and adds new ones such as e.g. legal support, Marek Grodzinski, Executive Board Member at Capgemini Polska and head of the group’s BPO units in Krakow and Katowice, told Puls Biznesu. He revealed that Capgemini is currently examining potential locations in Poland for a new unit that will test integrated systems. Recruitment is already underway and the centre is expected to employ over 100 people.

Capgemini’s existing centres in Warsaw, Wroclaw, Katowice, Krakow, and Opole employ 5,000 people in areas such as software development, infrastructure management, process environment monitoring, or BPO services. According to Mr. Grodzinski, all are optimistic about the future and eager to expand.
