Fuji Seal, Aquila investing in LSSE operations


Two foreign investors have received approvals for expanding their plants in the Lodz Special Economic Zone (LSSE).

Thus Fuji Seal, a leading global maker of shrink sleeve labels, will invest PLN 26m (approx. €6.1m) to add in a new production line at its factory in Kutno (Lodzkie voivodship), in the local sub-zone of the LSSE. The company will create 25 new jobs and maintain 245 existing ones.

And Aquila Radomsko, a subsidiary of VPK Packaging Group, a European manufacturer of packaging and sales promotion displays, will spend at least PLN 0.42m (€0.1m) on a new machine for its factory of corrugated cardboard in Radomsko (Lodzkie). The company pledged to add four new jobs and maintain 62 existing ones.

The LSSE has secured six new investment projects so far this year. Their combined value is PLN 113.4m (€26.7m). They will create 269 new jobs and protect 307 existing ones.
