Faurecia to add 50 jobs at R&D centre in Mazowieckie

Faurecia, the leading global manufacturer of automotive parts, has completed an expansion of its research and development (R&D) centre in Grojec (Mazowieckie voivodship), AutomotiveSupliers.pl reported. The centre’s area has been enlarged by a fourth, to 2,500 m2, allowing the firm to create 50 new jobs, up from 130.

Established in 2009, the unit develops automotive seating components in close collaboration with Faurecia’s R&D facilities in France, Germany, the United States, Brazil and China.

Faurecia also has nine manufacturing plants in Poland, in Grojec, Gorzow Wielkopolski (Lubuskie), and in Jelcz-Laskowice, Walbrzych and Legnica in Dolnoslaskie, as well as a finance and accounting centre in Grojec. In total, the group's Polish operations employ 5,713 people.
