Servier lifts capacity at Anpharm, considers Poland for new R&D centre

Servier, the French pharma group, on 23 November inaugurated a new bottling line at the Warsaw factory of its Polish subsidiary Anpharm. The value of the project is PLN 18m (approx. €4m). Mathieu Fitoussi, General Manager of Servier Polska, said Warsaw successfully competed with several other locations for the project, including Russia, the Czech Republic and some Balkan countries.

The capacity extension takes the total value of Servier’s investments at Anpharm so far to PLN 133m (€29.6m), Mr. Fitoussi said in Puls Biznesu.

Poland is also among potential locations for a new R&D centre that Servier plans to open within the next three years, he revealed.

Anpharm makes drugs in tablet form for the domestic and foreign markets.
