KNF: no Greek exposure in Poland’s financial sector

Polish banks, insurers, pension funds, mutual funds, and other financial-services firms have no exposure to Greek debt, the Financial Supervisory Commission (KNF) told Polish Press Agency on 6 September.

The KNF has conducted a snap survey among participants of the country’s financial sector to determine their holdings in Greek debt, and concluded they were keeping no money in such instruments.

The news comes as investors and governments are fretting about the impact of a possible Greek default.
