LSSE expands to absorb PLN 180m in new projects

The Lodz Special Economic Zone (LSSE) is about to apply to the Ministry of Economy for the inclusion into the zone of 55 hectares of new investment sites. This will clear the way for five new investment projects, worth a total of about PLN 180m (approx. €45m) and expected to create more than 500 new jobs, the zone’s spokesman Milosz Wika revealed.

Two of the new projects will be in Lodz, one from a white-goods company and another from an R&D firm. Two further ones, from manufacturers of ceramic tiles and thermoinsulating plates, will be in Tomaszow Mazowiecki (Lodzkie voivodship). The fifth one, a factory of baby care products, will be located in Slubica (Mazowieckie voivodship).

The five projects account for 22 of the 55 new hectares. The remaining 33 hectares represent new investment sites in Lucmierz near Zgierz (Lodzkie voivodship), Turek (Wielkopolskie voivodship) and Pruszkow (Mazowieckie voivodship).
